Ms. Holmes' class has been discussing apples and how settings can change. We read the story "How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World." We did a guided drawing of apples, wrote one fact we learned this week and tasted apple pies. Our CPIE partner, McDonald's, donated apple pies to first grade! Thank you, McDonald's.

📚🌱 Second Grade Adventure: From Pages to Plants! 🌿 This week, our second graders embarked on a unique learning journey. They started by reading "A Bad Case of Stripes" by David Shannon, a colorful tale about being true to yourself. But we didn't stop at just reading! Taking inspiration from the story's main character, Camilla Cream, and her love for lima beans, our young learners rolled up their sleeves and planted their very own lima beans! 🌱
