Ms. Strickland and her students have worked diligently this week during Digital Days to re-create their own version of the story, The Three Javelinas they read earlier this week. They were assigned partners and a storyboard template through Canva and Google Classroom. Students used descriptive sentences, animated slides, and very realistic pictures. Students will continue to make changes and present their slides on Friday with their partners.

Congratulations to the April PRIDE Students of the Month from each classroom! These students enjoyed a delicious McDonald's lunch in the Media Center!

Thursday is "Wear Orange for Unity Day!"

Mrs. Singletary's and Ms. Holmes' kindergarten class is back at with curating, collaborating, and creating. This week we read The Very Impatient Caterpillar and learned about the life cycle of a butterfly and what characteristics we need to possess to be patient. Our students learned about the life cycle through their Google Classroom, chose a partner, and then created a StoryBoard through Canva where they created and typed sentences about the life cycle. Then they shared with the class.

For Digital Days, Ms. Tuck's class used Canva to create their own addition word problems to present to the class! Students decided what their word problem would be about and chose images to give a visual. Students then recorded a video together to talk about their word problem!
Here is a link to their presentation!
