🌟 What an incredible learning experience for our 6th graders at the Valdosta State University STEAM Center! 🌪️🌧️ The students rotated through hands-on stations where they explored everything from weather patterns and the Coriolis effect to tornadoes and the water cycle. 🌍💧 They even got the chance to step into the shoes of a meteorologist and forecast the weather! 🌦️ It was a fun and educational visit that brought science to life in ways that they won’t soon forget. 👏 #STEAM #LearningByDoing

PGM's Military and Family Life Counselor Amy Gaiss was proud to have been presented a flag flown in an A-10C Warthog over the Middle East by Lt. Col. Rick Olson. (Flag and certificate pictured with his son.) We appreciate all Ms. Gaiss does for our military-connected students and their families!💜 #MonthOfTheMiltaryChild #PurpleUp

The Culinary Crusaders rose to the occasion at their last meeting before Spring Break! 🥣 Mrs. Browning taught the students how to whip up buttermilk biscuits from scratch--and they were flaky perfection. Quite a few teachers could not resist stopping by for a taste! 🍽️ #AfterSchoolDeliciousness #BakingSkills

Why do arrows switch directions when water is poured in front of them? After observing this phenomenon as their class opener, Mrs. Herman's physical science students collaborated to write CERs (Claim-Evidence-Reasoning paragraphs) based on their prior scientific knowledge. They corrected any errors in their writing after learning more about light wave behavior. ⬅️➡️💡📝 #STEM #Inquiry

6th grade ELA students have been practicing their argumentative writing skills by preparing for and holding mock trials of fairy tale characters! Students and teachers played the roles of plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, judges, and more after gathering evidence from stories to support each side of the case. ⚖️

The PGM girls soccer A team plays today at Colquitt County in the Semi-Finals at 4:30! Go Grove! ⚽️

PGM Sources of Strength showed GRATITUDE to some of the unsung heroes of the school.
