Teacher of the month: Mrs. Rackley
🎉Mrs. Rackley is a vital part of the LPE community, always ready to help her students and coworkers. She inspires her students to do well and takes pride in her work. Each morning, she leads prayer in the library for students and teachers, showing her dedication to the school. As a caring teacher, she works hard to meet the needs of each student by providing structured and engaging lessons. Mrs. Rackley encourages her students to do their best and takes time to get to know them personally, making everyone feel valued. She welcomes other teachers into her classroom and communicates clearly with students, parents, and coworkers to support everyone’s success. Having transitioned smoothly to first grade this year, she has been a great help to the team, especially with her technology skills, making her an important resource at LPE. 👩🏫

🎇Mrs. Fran shines brightly at LPE with her positive attitude and warm smile! She kindly greets everyone by name and never lets you pass without saying “Hey or Good Morning!” The students adore her, and LPE would be lost without her. We love Mrs. Fran! 💕

🌟 Hula Hoop Knock Down Fun! 🌟
Our K-5 students had a blast in PE playing Hula Hoop Knock Down! 🎉 This exciting game promotes communication and teamwork as students take on different roles: builders, defenders, and throwers. The goal? Knock down all 4 huts to claim victory! 🏆🤹♂️ #learningatlpe
Our Third Grade classes kicked off their GMAS Test Prep Olympics this week. They use this time as a fun opportunity to review critical skills before the upcoming Georgia Milestones Test. #learningatlpe
Our second grade classes participated in their annual 📚March Book Madness 🏀competition. This year they recruited some special guest referees to help us celebrate the joy of reading! #learningtatlpe
Fourth grade students are participating in a fun and exciting Shark Tank-inspired project where they invent or innovate a new product. Working in teams, they brainstorm creative ideas and develop solutions to real-world problems. Once their products are ready, they present their inventions to a panel of "sharks"—teachers and school staff acting as investors—pitching their ideas in hopes of striking a deal. Throughout the process, students negotiate, refine their presentations, and learn valuable skills in entrepreneurship. This experience not only boosts their confidence but also teaches them about teamwork, problem-solving, and business concepts. By engaging in this hands-on activity, students gain a deeper understanding of how innovation and collaboration can lead to successful outcomes. #learningatlpe
Mrs. Cliett’s fifth grade discovery students are learning to code with Sphero Indi robots, exploring the basics of programming. They collaborate to create code that makes the robots perform various tasks, including spelling words. As they work together, they face challenges that require problem-solving and creative thinking. Through these hands-on activities, students strengthen their teamwork and communication skills. The Sphero Indi robots offer a fun way to engage with technology while developing important skills. This experience helps students understand how coding can be used to solve problems and achieve goals. #learningatlpe
