Ms. McCauley's students created flamingos out of pinecones during their art class. They used pipe cleaners for the legs and painted canvas for the flamingos to stand on. They had fun with this project and were excited to take them home. @OneLowndes #BetterTogether

Ms. Elmore's 10th grade Literature class traveled to Westside Elementary to read to Mrs. Whitney Robinson's 1st grade class to celebrate Georgia Reads Day, albeit a little late due to Hurricane Helene. The high school students read to the elementary school students, helped them with a spooky craft, and enjoyed a festive snack. A bookish time was had by all! @onelowndes #BetterTogether #GAReads

Mrs. Niehanke’s Culinary Arts students put their math skills to work to follow a recipe to make multiple batches of their “famous” Scarecrow Crunch again this Fall! Students have been stopping by the coffee shop asking for it for weeks, so now you can grab your delicious bag for just $1.00 from either Crimson Cafe location. It was so fun to watch these Life Skills students working so well together after learning all about the assembly line in Ms. Banks’s social studies class early this year. Just another great example of how we really are #bettertogether! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #OneLowndes
